Back in May 2022, a devastating tornado hit Uxbridge. To commemorate its one-year anniversary, I conducted interviews throughout the town and wrote up an article surrounding how residents and business owners have been coping and recovering since.

For this episode of Injury is Not Equal, we took a look into the often missed and unknown connection between traumatic brain injury and intimate partner violence. Here, I took the lead sourcing ideas, prepared interview notes, co-wrote the episode’s script (as with the rest of season two as well), and edited the full-length episode together (right up until the point of publishing).
In this episode of What Happened To…, we revisited the well-known, yet short-lived Google Glass gadget. This product created a divide amongst its users and audiences, and sparked curiosity around the world. After the episode was pulled together and ready for publishing, I also wrote up a web article to accompany the episode.
In this article, I highlighted a local grocery store that offers low-cost options, challenging growing issues of food waste and inflation. This hidden gem blew up online, and has been receiving an influx of business ever since. I visited the store to interview the owner and wrote up an article, which highlights the organization’s journey to success, their operation methods, and issues in the food industry today.
In this episode of Injury is Not Equal, we dove into the important intersection between traumatic brain injury and mental health. As with the previously listed episode, I sourced and organized both interviews, prepared in-depth interview notes based on the guests’ professional backgrounds, and wrote the episode’s script. I also edited the full episode together, right up until the point of publishing.
This half-hour special edition of Making a Difference aired earlier this year, highlighting some of the segment’s top stories aired in 2023. I personally sourced, organized, co-wrote and co-produced each story. That included setting up interviews, securing locations, choosing clips, creating scripts, and helping bring the show to air.
To celebrate the 30th McHappy Day in Canada, I decided to organize a story surrounding a family who had previously stayed at a Ronald Mcdonald House. For this, I sourced and organized interviews with a family who spoke on their journey, and the organization’s incredible impacts on children across the country.
For this episode of Making a Difference, we highlighted a new technology to treat Parkinson’s disease, and the life-changing effects that come along with it. To show this, I discovered and sourced a recipient of this new treatment method, who, as a result, has been able to return to his life passion.
Back in February of last year, Doug Ford came under fire after greenbelt developers attended his daughter's stag-and-doe party. I reached out to a number of political figures, and wrote up an article dissecting the situation.
